“I honestly don’t remember how or where I first stumbled across October Saves.  Maybe October Saves really found us. My 12 year old goalie immediately asked if he could join and do something to honor his mom and her fight.  Those lessons the game teaches you . . . be a part of something bigger than yourself.  I can’t say I expected that lesson to be learned at 12 years old, but somewhere it had been…. No matter where this game may take my son, I don’t think I can ever be more proud than I am when I think about what he accomplished last year.  My whole family is grateful for the experience and lessons that October Saves teaches us all.”
